Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner

Quite possibly the best conditioner I have used since I big chopped. The price is great is great $2.99 CAD, it smells wonderful and leaves my hair feeling soft.

I've outlined the main points of the ingredients as they relate to hair care and cosmetic use.

Ingredients
:

Aqua: (Water) self explanatory

Cetyl Alcohol
: A naturally occurring fatty alcohol, it's a stabilizing agent that prevent the oil and water components of an emulsion from separating.

Cetrimonium Chloride:
Has antistatic properties and disinfecting properties. Used in antiseptics as it is able to disrupt the membranes of microrganisms.

Distearyldimonium Chloride
: Used as a hair conditioning ingredient. Has some moisturizing effect on the skin. Essentially, the positive charge interacts with negatively charged proteins on your skin, so the ingredient doesn't completely rinse off. This provides a smooth feel to your skin and hair.

Parfum
: (Fragrance) Self explanatory

Disodium EDTA
: EDTA, (edetic acid) and its salts were developed to counteract the effects of hard water and heavy metal ions in the manufacture of textiles. Binds to metal ions and inactivates them. By binding with metal ions, it prevents the metals from being deposited onto the hair, scalp and skin. Acts as a preservative, it helps to maintain clarity, protect fragrance compounds,and prevents them from smelling foul.

Glycerin2-Bromo-2 Nitropropane-1, 3 Diol: Preservative agent, prevents or slows bacterial growth. Protects cosmetic products from going bad . Has various antibacterial properties and prevents the growth of fungi and yeasts.

Methylchloroisothiazolinone: Often mixed with Methylisothiazolinone and sold as ingredients in commercial microbiocides and preservatives. This mixture is supposed to be effective against bacteria, fungi and yeast.

Methylisothiazolinone: May also be used alone as a preservative to protect products from potential contamination by the consumer during use.

Propelyne Glycol: Is an organic alcohol. One of the most widely used ingredients in cosmetics and personal care products including fragrances. attract water and ac as moisturizer to enhance the appearance of skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. Also used to help stabilize formulations.

Tocopheryl Acetate: (Vitamin E) Tocopherol, or vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin is a naturally occuring antioxidant which can be isolated from vegetable oil. Has antioxdant properties, moisturizing and conditioning properties.

Silk Amino Acids: Natural water-soluble source of acid derived from liquid silk; these acids help moisture penetrate the skin, help absorption and aid in skin healing. Used in skin and hair products, powder, and color makeup.

Honey: Honey is added to cosmetics and personal care products as a humectant, a flavouring agent as well as skin conditioning agent.

Urica Dioica (Nettle) Extract: Extract from nettle leaves, rich in trace minerals and Vitamins A and C, anti-inflammatory properties, traditional herbal remedy for dandruff and hair loss, gives hair gloss.

Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract: Extract from rosemary leaves and blossoms possessing antibacterial properties, which clarifies skin, regulates sebaceous glands, and promotes circulation.

Cocos Nucifer (Coconut) Extract: Derived from coconut fruit; moisturizes and provides natural fragrance.Coconut milk makes the skin/hair soft and silky.
